American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Perioperative Circulator for an Adult Surgery OR position in Oklahoma City, requiring a minimum of one year of acute OR experience and an active OK or compact RN license.
Details- Work setting is an acute care hospital Adult Surgery Operating Room
- Perioperative circulator role serving adult surgical patients across a range of operative and invasive procedures
- Day shift schedule, 4x10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
- Level 1 trauma center experience of 6+ months required
- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact (eNLC) RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care OR environment
- Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) required
- CNOR certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of AORN standards and perioperative nursing practices
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services in an OR setting
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Responsible for direct and indirect professional nursing care of patients in the operating room throughout the perioperative continuum
- Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and the specific surgery or procedure being performed
- Accountable for ongoing evaluation and documentation of all care components using the nursing process
- BSN from a board-approved program is preferred
- Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a minimum 6-month separation period before being eligible; extensions are limited to one time, for a total of 26 weeks
- Compliance with onboarding requirements (background checks, drug screens, medical requirements) must begin immediately upon offer acceptance — start dates will not be adjusted for non-compliance

American Traveler Job #P-710395. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
