Responsibilities
The Nurse Manager provides direct supervision to the nursing/patient care team on all shifts facility-wide for all patient service levels in an around‑the‑clock in‑patient environment. Provides physical assessments of patients, implements patients’ treatment plans, evaluates response to treatment, provides complete documentation, performs physical restraint assessments, administers medications as prescribed, and provides health care education for patients and families. Assists ADON in employee recruitment, education, and performance development, as well as policy review and implementation, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Performs duties in accordance with the ANA Standards of Practice for Psychiatric Mental Health Care, and facility mission, values, policies, and behavioral standards. Reports to Assistant Director of Nursing.
- Licensure and registration by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing as a registered nurse (RN) and CPR certification
- One (1) to two (2) years prior clinical experience and recent psychiatric nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- One (1) to two (2) years of supervisory/charge nurse experience

- Licensure and registration by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing as a registered nurse (RN) and CPR certification
- One (1) to two (2) years prior clinical experience and recent psychiatric nursing experience
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- One (1) to two (2) years of supervisory/charge nurse experience
- BSN or Master’s degree (preferred)
- CPR Instructor (preferred)
- Infection control experience (a plus)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Successfully complete a drug test
- Successfully pass a national background check
- Ability to push, pull and lift up to 40 pounds
- Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending and stooping
- Strong Computer skills
- Excellent Communication skills
- Strong Leadership skills
