Job Summary

Med Pro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN PACU - Post Anesthesia Care assignment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

36 hours per week (12-hour night shifts)

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 18 months of recent experience in an acute care PACU setting
• Other requirements as determined by the client facility

The PACU RN will assist in patient recovery from anesthesia, monitor patients as they wake from surgery, and release them for discharge or transfer to the floor.

• Provide care for post-operative patients recovering from anesthesia, including general, regional, and local techniques. Treat both inpatients and outpatients as needed.
• Administer diligent care via monitoring, assessment, intervention, and continuous reassessment.
