As a LPN at Meadowlake Estates in Oklahoma City, OK, you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will help ensure the highest quality services are delivered in a customer-service-friendly environment. Responsibilities- Maintains appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
- Evaluates staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
- Administers medication/treatments as prescribed.
- Receives, transcribes, and implements physician’s orders.
- Implements and evaluates care plans.
- Identifies and secures equipment and supplies.
- Directs and oversees subordinates.
- Participates in duty assignments.
- Organizes and coordinates subordinates, tasks, and time allotments.
- Oversees and monitors function and activities of subordinate staff.
- Evaluates staff performance and initiates appropriate action including discipline or training.
- Monitors infection control compliance.
- Investigates and documents accidents/incidents.
- Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice
- Previous skilled nursing experience
- Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance
