As a PACU Registered Nurse
, you will provide high-quality post-anesthesia care from admission through discharge. You will use your clinical expertise to support safe recoveries, anticipate complications, and ensure an excellent patient experience.

• Provide direct care to post-surgical patients in accordance with policies and standards of care
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status, interventions, and outcomes
• Recognize and respond efficiently to emergencies using ACLS/PALS and hospital protocols
• Demonstrate knowledge of PACU equipment, including proper use, removal, and troubleshooting
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications and expected anesthesia outcomes
• Provide clear and compassionate discharge instructions to patients and families
• Complete and document postoperative follow-up calls
• Restock and maintain supplies and equipment for efficient workflow
• Support pain management procedures according to facility standards
• Collaborate professionally with patients, families, physicians, and team members
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure continuity of care

• Active Oklahoma RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required prior to clinical start

• Minimum one year of PACU, ICU, or Emergency experience preferred

• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
• Strong clinical judgment in post-anesthesia care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of age-specific nursing care requirements
• Ability to prioritize effectively and remain calm under pressure

• Exposure to blood, body fluids, and infectious diseases
• Requires the ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, reaching, kneeling, and fine motor movements
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English clearly
