Position
ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a Travel Nurse RN for PICU
- Pediatric Intensive Care in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

- Hours: 36 hours per week on 12 hour, nights shifts
- Employment Type: Travel RN
- Job Notes: Travel or local RN needed for ASAP start, minimum 2+ years recent hospital bedside experience, must start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of initial assignment.
- Compensation: Pay package based on 12 hour shifts, 36 hours per week, tax-free stipend amount to be determined; $750 referral bonus available.
- Provide nursing care to pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex.
- Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
- Document patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments.
- Assist physicians in patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Obtain and monitor physiological data of patients and intervene when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products.
- Interact with families and patients regarding care plans and discharge procedures.
- Make referrals to appropriate personnel regarding patient care needs.
- Delegate tasks to support staff.
- CVICU and NICU experience preferred.
- Level 1 experience required.
- 1 year of nursing experience required.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
- Current Oklahoma RN License or multistate compact RN License (eNLC) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (American Heart Association) required.
- PALS (American Heart Association) required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills required.
