Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU – Pediatric Intensive Care in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements- One year of inpatient experience in the related department with trauma level as shown below.
- One year of travel experience preferred, but will consider six months of travel.
- All candidates expected to float as needed.
- Must have PICU experience and level 1 experience.
Under general supervision, the RN provides nursing care in a hospital setting to pediatric patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex.
Responsibilities- Manage an assigned group of patients, ensuring high‑quality care.
- Document patient responses to interventions and treatments; update changes in physician orders.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
- Monitor and obtain physiological data, intervening as necessary.
- Administer medications, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
- Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge instructions.
- Educate patients and families on hospital procedures.
- Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel and delegate tasks to support staff.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a board‑approved program.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, and evaluate nursing services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
- Work Authorization: US Citizen.
- Preferred years of experience: 1 year.
- Travel required:
No travel required.
Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
