Position: Travel Nurse RN - PICU - Pediatric Intensive Care - $2,894 per week

Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN PICU – Pediatric Intensive Care in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements
  • One year of inpatient experience in the related department with trauma level as shown below.
  • One year of travel experience preferred, but will consider six months of travel.
  • All candidates expected to float as needed.
  • Must have PICU experience and level 1 experience.
Job Summary

Under general supervision, the RN provides nursing care in a hospital setting to pediatric patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex.

Responsibilities
  • Manage an assigned group of patients, ensuring high‑quality care.
  • Document patient responses to interventions and treatments; update changes in physician orders.
  • Assist physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures.
  • Monitor and obtain physiological data, intervening as necessary.
  • Administer medications, regulate and monitor IV infusions and blood products.
  • Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge instructions.
  • Educate patients and families on hospital procedures.
  • Refer patient care needs to appropriate personnel and delegate tasks to support staff.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a board‑approved program.
Skills
  • Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, and procedures.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and evaluate nursing services.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
  • Basic computer skills.
Qualification / Licensure
  • Work Authorization: US Citizen.
  • Preferred years of experience: 1 year.
  • Travel required:

    No travel required.
Compensation

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
