Travel RN - Acute Dialysis

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Acute Dialysis position requiring at least 2 years of HD and PD experience, with on-call responsibilities and floating to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius.

• Active OK or Compact RN license currently in hand — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
• CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of acute HD and PD dialysis experience required
• Candidate's permanent address must be located more than 75 miles from the facility
• Valid driver's license and a utility bill with matching address (dated within the last 3 months) required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of all certifications required for consideration

• Dialysis unit position within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Acute hemodialysis (HD) and peritoneal dialysis (PD) patient population
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Charting performed in Epic
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holidays or blackout dates may be requested for time off
• Any gaps of 3 months or more in work history must include a written explanation
