Position: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 7am to 3pm (12-hour shift)

• Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of practice consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
• Evaluate staffing patterns needed to meet residents’ needs in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
• Administer medication/treatment as prescribed.
• Receive, transcribe, and implement physician orders.
• Implement and evaluate care plans.
• Identify and secure equipment supplies.
• Direct and oversee subordinates.
• Participate in duty assignments.
• Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
• Oversee and monitor the function and activities of subordinate staff.
• Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action, discipline, or training.
• Monitor infection control compliance.
• Investigate and document accidents or incidents.

• Current, unrestricted LPN license in the state of practice.
• Previous skilled nursing experience.
• Solid understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
