As a Pain/Phase II RN
, you’ll play a critical role in pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery
, ensuring each patient receives safe and compassionate care.

• Prepare patients for procedures following hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical experience
  .
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to emergency situations as needed.
• Ensure all necessary pre‑op requirements are met before surgery.
• Maintain and rotate supplies/medications to prevent expirations.

• Receive patient handoff from PACU or OR nurse
  .
• Monitor vital signs,
  airway, respiratory & circulatory status
  .
• Administer medications and follow physician orders.
• Promote patient comfort, privacy, and safety
  .
• Educate patients and families on post‑op care and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate smooth patient discharge, ensuring a seamless transition home
  .
• Complete post‑operative calls and provide follow-up care
  .

Licensure & Certification:

• Active Oklahoma RN License (or eligibility)
• BLS Certification (within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS/PALS Certification (within 6 months of hire)

Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Pain or Phase II nurse
