Travel RN - Pediatric ICU

American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a night shift hospital position in Oklahoma City, requiring at least one year of RN experience and current AHA certifications.

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) required
• Current BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Level 1 facility experience required
• Full date of birth (DOB) required for consideration

• Pediatric ICU unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• CVICU and NICU experience is preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Responsibilities include managing an assigned patient group, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, initiating and regulating IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating care with physicians and support staff
• Patient and family education is a key component of the role, including care plan communication and discharge instructions
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Travelers who have previously worked at this facility may reapply after a 6-month separation period; total tenure is limited to 26 weeks (including one extension) unless otherwise approved
• Compliance with onboarding requirements (drug screens, background checks, medical requirements) is strictly enforced — non-compliance may result in contract cancellation
