Post-Acute / Rehabilitation Hospital - Oklahoma City, OK

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in a post-acute and rehabilitation hospital setting. In this role, you will work closely with nurses and clinical staff to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding

* Monitor and document vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration)

* Support patient mobility, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation

* Observe patients and report any changes in condition to the nursing staff

* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies

* Provide emotional support and ensure a positive patient experience

* Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized patient environment

* Support nurses and therapists during treatments, procedures, and rehab activities

Skills & Competencies

* Strong patient care and bedside manner

* Knowledge of basic medical terminology and healthcare procedures

* Ability to assist patients safely with mobility and ADLs

* Effective communication and teamwork skills

* Customer service mindset with a patient-focused approach

* Attention to detail and ability to follow care plans

Qualifications

* Active CNA certification in the state of Oklahoma (required)

* Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)

* High school diploma or GED (preferred)

* Previous experience in a hospital, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing facility (preferred, but not required)

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

* Post-acute / rehabilitation hospital setting

* Working closely with nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams

* Fast-paced environment focused on recovery and patient progress

* Hands-on patient care with physical activity required (lifting, bending, standing)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr.
