Registered Nurse (RN) – Pediatric Float Pool | 13-Week Contract | 5x8 Nights

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Float Pool on a 13-week contract. This is a full-time night shift position requiring weekend and holiday availability. The RN will provide high-quality patient care across multiple pediatric specialty units, caring for patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned pediatric patients.
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to clinical changes.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care and delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate.

Float Pool Coverage:

• PICU (34 beds)
• CICU (25 beds)
• NICU (112 beds – low-acuity feeder/grower assignments only)
• Pediatric Surgical Unit
• Behavioral Health
• Medical Specialty Units (GI, Neuro, Respiratory)
• Hematology/Oncology
• Step-Down Unit
• Cardiac Pediatrics

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Experience with tracheostomy care, high-flow oxygen therapy, infusions, and advanced nursing skills
• Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current Oklahoma RN License or Compact (eNLC) License
• BLS and PALS certifications (AHA)

Schedule & Contract:

• Night shifts
• Weekends and holidays required
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week
