Clinical Research Nurse - Coletta

The Clinical Research Nurse (CRN) coordinates research studies conducted by Mercy Research. The CRN handles day‑to‑day operational tasks related to clinical trials, including volunteer recruitment, drug/device/supply inventory maintenance, interactions with physicians, nurses, office staff, patients, and clinical monitors. Responsibilities also include collection, compilation, documentation, and analysis of clinical research data while adhering to local, state and federal regulations. The CRN assists with training and preceptor duties, communicates and builds relationships with sponsors and CROs, and performs duties in alignment with Mercy’s mission, values and Service Standards.

Location: Mercy Coletta

Hours: Full time – 40 hours

• Education: Nursing Diploma, Nursing Associate’s degree, or Nursing Bachelor’s degree.
• Licensure: Registered Nurse with a valid license in the state of practice.
• Experience: At least 2 years nursing experience for a Bachelor’s degree, or 3 years for an Associate’s degree or diploma. Preferred: 2 years clinical research experience or phlebotomy experience.

  Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  
  Ability to perform basic patient assessments (vital signs, spirometry, ECGs, phlebotomy, blood glucose monitoring), excellent communication and interpersonal skills, computer proficiency (Internet and Microsoft Office), and strong problem‑solving abilities.
