Urgent Care Provider (NP or PA) - Full Time

Greater Oklahoma City, OK

SSM Health is seeking a full‑time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy Urgent Care clinic in the north Oklahoma City area
. The clinic is conveniently located near major highways and offers a team‑based practice environment.

• Schedule: 14 twelve‑hour shifts per month
  • Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 1–2 Saturdays each month.
• Operation: Clinic operates 7 days a week
• Staffing: Dedicated support team including Medical Assistants and Office Assistants
• On‑site Services: X‑ray and laboratory services available
• Patient Population: Treat patients of all ages

• Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of licensure
• Evaluate and treat a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries
• Perform urgent care procedures (suturing, splinting, wound care)

• Minimum of 1‑year experience as a practicing provider
• Active, unrestricted Oklahoma NP or PA license
• Board‑certified or board‑eligible
  • PA: NCCPA
  • NP: ANCC or AANP (FNP required)
• Active DEA (or ability to obtain)
• BLS certification
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends

• Urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial X‑ray interpretation
