Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Required:

RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below

Required:

One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

All Candidates are expected to Float as needed

Required - "Interventional Technologist - 4X10's
BLS / ACLS required
Manager WILL consider candidates with NO Travel and NO Trauma experience
13 or 26 week contract available
call as needed, rotating day off per week

Candidates must have completed one of the following ( entry into practice) education programs :

* Associate Degree or above program in Radiologic Technology OR
* 2 year RCIS program"

Job Title: RN Procedural - VIR - FS

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in one of OU Health’s specialty areas. Responsibilities include assuming responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments, assisting physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, obtaining and monitoring physiological data, administering prescribed medications, initiating and regulating intravenous infusions and blood products, delivering competent patient care, interacting with patients and families regarding care plans, overseeing treatment provided by technicians or other service providers, informing patients and families of hospital procedures, making referrals for patient care needs, and delegating tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team providing excellent specialized care.
• Completion of orientation and ability to function independently in assigned specialty area may be required.

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association required upon hire.
• ACLS (American Heart Association) required within 6 months of hire.
