Travel RN - Med​/Surg Tele

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of experience and ACLS certification, working night shifts on a 10th-floor unit with a focus on orthopedic and colorectal post-operative patients.

• Active OK RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand (pending licenses not accepted)
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, EKG/Telemetry course completion, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required, with current Critical Care or Telemetry experience
• Valid driver's license or state-issued  a utility bill in the candidate's name with a matching address dated within the last 3 months are required for consideration
• 2 supervisory references required for consideration
• Copies of certifications required for consideration
• Permanent address must be greater than 75 miles from the facility

• 10th-floor Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit with 24 staffed beds and an average daily census of 24
• Primary patient population includes orthopedic and colorectal post-operative patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30
• Floating within scope required to meet facility needs, including to other facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling requests are not accommodated
• Charting is performed in Epic
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are not accepted — permanent address must be outside the 75-mile radius
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from this health system for at least 1 year to be eligible
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per 13-week assignment; no holiday or blackout dates may be requested
