Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patient responses, assisting physicians during procedures, educating patients and families, and coordinating follow-up care. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to respond to cultural and language needs, and proficiency in nursing techniques.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Some computer skills
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration
  - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
  - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program
