Requirement: "Stroke experience and NIHSS are both preferred . Will need to precept and possibly work in the virtual room. This is a Stroke and Neuro floor. They also have ortho and spine patients.
We are a comprehensive stroke center. Ratios 3:1 SD patients and 5:1 all other patients."

Required:

RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below

One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, administering prescribed medications, monitoring physiological data, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures. The RN will also assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, delegate tasks to support staff, and make referrals regarding patient care needs.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred.

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association.
