Registered Nurse; RN Rehabilitation

Rehab RN – Full‑time position in 3‑day/12‑hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM).

Mercy Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint operation of Lifepoint Health and Kindred Healthcare, seeks an experienced Rehabilitation Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, patient‑centered care, supporting patients in regaining independence and improving quality of life after serious illness or injury.

Full‑time; 3 × 12‑hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM‑7:00 PM.

• Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
• Initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
• Provide care tailored to the patient’s condition and age.
• Document medical necessity accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Complete and revise the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
• Perform timely and accurate QI assessments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
• BLS required.
• Previous rehabilitation experience preferred.
