RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below

One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.
Requirements:
Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required. Charge expereince is a HUGE plus. Should be familiar with Central line care and management, foley care and management, end of life care and management. In relation to the nephrology portion, they should know how to care for a dialysis site properly (for example, not using an HD cath or attempting to access a fistula for blood draws)

Job Summary: Under general supervision, the RN Nephrology provides nursing care in a hospital setting to patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. This role involves delivering competent patient care, monitoring physiological data, administering prescribed medications, and collaborating with physicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The RN also interacts with patients and families to share care plans and provide information about hospital procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of nursing experience.
- Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
- Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
- Current Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Heart Association.
