Responsibilities

Accepting New Grads and experienced Registered Nurses!

Responsible for direct patient care in the assigned department and as needed in other areas of the Oklahoma Heart Hospital. Demonstrates knowledge of Joint Commission, federal, and state regulations. Actively participates in the routine checks of all equipment used in the Surgery Department. Collaborates with the Director, Manager and all other team members in idea sharing, utilization of resources, as well as assists in the cross training of the staff when assigned.

Participates and encourages the hospital mission and values in day-to-day activities. Participates in and encourages teamwork to provide patient-focused care.

Qualifications

Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Licensure/Certification: Registered Nurse with current state licensure, Current BLS required.

Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of continuous surgery experience preferred.

As part of our nursing team, you are empowered to work collaboratively with our physicians and other caregivers, and play an integral role in setting the standard for excellence in patient care. With low, fixed nurse-to-patient ratios, our nursing team has time to get to know their patients and their families while providing the highest quality, safe, patient-focused care. Patient rooms are fully stocked with all necessary supplies and arranged in a circular, pod layout around each nursing station to streamline patient care and save our nursing team time.
