Role Overview
This position involves providing inpatient and procedure-focused cardiothoracic surgery care as a full-time Advanced Practitioner PA or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification. The role includes clinical patient care, some outpatient responsibilities, and coverage during weeknights and weekends.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in cardiothoracic surgery settings.
- Participate in procedures and patient management.
- Collaborate with experienced healthcare team members.
- Manage inpatient and outpatient cases, ensuring optimal patient outcomes.
- Certified Physician Assistant or Certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with RNFA certification.
- Experience in cardiothoracic surgery, including Endoscopic Vein Harvesting (EVH).
- State licensure as a Physician Assistant or RN/ACNP in Oklahoma.
- Strong clinical skills in cardiothoracic surgery.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented, high-quality care environment.
- Flexibility to cover various shifts including nights and weekends.
- Commitment to providing excellent patient care and maintaining professionalism.
