Job Description:

Metro Technology Centers is accepting applications for a Practical Nursing Adjunct who is responsible for instructing students in the classroom, laboratory, and at clinical sites under the direction of PN faculty.

Minimum Requirements:

Education/

Experience:

* Current unencumbered professional license as a Registered Nurse in Oklahoma.

* Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.

* At least two (2) years full-time experience in a clincal setting providing direct patient care as an RN required, within the last five years.

* Master's Science degree in nursing preferred.

* Current American Heart Association, BLS certification required

* Updated immunization record required for clinical sites.

Duties:
Duties may vary, but could include the following:

* Supervises nursing students in classroom, lab, or clinical settings.

* Instructs curriculum, records attendance, grades assignments and tests.

* Guides clinical practice of students.

* Maintains accurate records.

* Follows all guidelines for instruction as set forth by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing, Oklahoma Department of Career and Technology Education, or other governing agencies.

* Instructs and assists in the safe operation and care of equipment and materials used in the classroom and laboratory settings.

* Performs related duties as assigned.

Reports to:

Practical Nursing Coordinator and/or Site Director

Supervises:
Only the supervision of practical nursing students.
