Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatric Hematology / Oncology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the RN Oncology - Pediatrics provides nursing care in a hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The role involves delivering competent patient care, administering prescribed medications, monitoring physiological data, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures. The RN will also assist physicians in examinations and minor diagnostic procedures, initiate and monitor intravenous infusions and blood products, and delegate tasks to support staff.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures

• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)

• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association

• PALS (American Heart Association)

• APHON Chemotherapy

Preferred Certifications & Licensure:

• None
