RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below

Job Summary: Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Responsibilities include assuming responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documenting patient responses to interventions and treatments, assisting physicians during examinations and procedures, administering medications, monitoring physiological data, and interacting with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures.

Additional duties include delegating tasks to support staff and making referrals to appropriate personnel.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors
• Basic computer skills
• Tracheostomy care experience
• Stepdown experience (high acuity)
• Epic EMR experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• ICU experience

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS issued by the American Heart Association
