Integrated Healthcare Services is seeking a travel nurse RN Neurology for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Requirements: "Stroke experience and NIHSS are both preferred . Will need to precept and possibly work in the virtual room. This is a Stroke and Neuro floor. They also have ortho and spine patients.
We are a comprehensive stroke center. Ratios 3:1 SD patients and 5:1 all other patients."

Required:

RNs must have one year of inpatient experience minimum in the related department with the trauma level shown below

Required:

One year of travel experience is preferred but will consider six months’ travel

Required:

All Candidates are expected to Float as needed.

Job Title: RN - Neurology

Job Summary:
Under general supervision, provides nursing care in a hospital to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. The RN assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, documents patient responses to interventions, assists physicians in examinations and procedures, monitors physiological data, administers medications, and interacts with patients and families to share care plans and hospital procedures.

Delegation of tasks to support staff and referrals to appropriate personnel are also part of the role.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience

• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures

• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services

• Good verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors

• Basic computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing Board Approved Program preferred

Required Certifications & Licensure:

• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC)

• Current Basic Life Support issued by the American Heart Association
