American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Oncology Infusion Clinic position requiring current chemotherapy certification and at least 1 year of chemotherapy experience.

• Outpatient hospital-based oncology infusion clinic setting for adult patients
• Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week (40 hours weekly)
• Administers PO and SC medications, chemotherapy drugs, and other treatments as ordered
• Initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products
• Assists physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures
• Coordinates patient follow-up care including referrals and post-visit phone calls

• Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification from AHA
• ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certification required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required
• Minimum of 1 year of outpatient infusion and chemotherapy experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

• Provides chemotherapy administration, patient education, and care coordination in an outpatient oncology setting
• Educates patients and families on chemotherapy treatment and side effects
• Delegates tasks to support staff and collaborates with the care team
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates within the radius are not eligible for this position
• Returning workers may extend contracts only once for a total of 26 weeks, requiring a 6-month separation before reapplying
