American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring critical care/telemetry experience and an OK or compact RN license.

• Medical-Surgical unit with a focus on orthopedic and colo-rectal post-operative patients
• 24 staffed beds with an average daily census of 24
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Epic charting system used, experience required
• Floating required within scope to meet facility needs, including to sister facilities within a 75-mile radius
• Block scheduling not accommodated

• Active OK or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current critical care and telemetry experience required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• EKG Course/Telemetry test and NIHSS certifications required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Current and valid driver's license or state-issued
• Utility bill in candidate's name with matching address within the last three months required

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care with a focus on orthopedic and colo-rectal post-operative patients
• Responsibilities may include IV therapy, phlebotomy, central and peripheral line care, wound care, and cardiac monitoring
• Skills in interpreting and managing dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, and ortho trauma care are valued
• Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted per 13-week assignment, with no holiday RTO permitted
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former facility employees must have at least 1 year of separation before being eligible for a travel assignment
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Two supervisory references required
