OU Health is the academic anchor, drawing patients from across the Southern Plains into the metro. Contracts circulate into Norman, Edmond, and Moore, where many clinicians set up housing for a quick interstate drive.
The OKC Streetcar helps for getting around downtown, though most hospital commutes still happen by car, and the open grid keeps those drives straightforward.
