Job Summary:
Under general supervision, the RN in the Oncology Infusion Clinic provides nursing care to a diverse patient population with health conditions ranging from simple to complex. The role involves administering chemotherapy and other medications, monitoring patient responses, assisting physicians during procedures, educating patients and families about chemotherapy, and coordinating follow-up care. The RN is expected to deliver competent patient care, interact effectively with patients and families, and maintain professional relationships with colleagues.

Required Qualifications:

• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures.
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to respond effectively to cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
• Basic computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Required Education:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.

Preferred Education:

• Bachelor of Science (or higher) in Nursing from a Board Approved Program.

Required Certifications & Licensure:
