American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring PALS certification and prior ICU experience.

• Work in the Pediatric ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)
• CVICU and NICU experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma center experience required

• Active RN License (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact/eNLC)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Current PALS certification (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Certifications must be issued by the American Heart Association

• Provide nursing care to a variety of pediatric patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments
• Administer medications and manage IV infusions and blood products as prescribed
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Travelers may extend only once for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
• Compliance documents and onboarding requirements must be completed promptly, as start dates will not be pushed
