American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Advanced Endoscopy position requiring at least one year of GI/endoscopy experience and a compact or Oklahoma RN license.

Details- Hospital-based Advanced Endoscopy unit
- Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
- 10-hour day shifts, 7am-5:30pm, 4 days per week with a set day off
- Call required 2-3 days per month
- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
- 1 year of endoscopy experience required; advanced/interventional endoscopy experience preferred
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
- NIHSS certification required
- Provides nursing care to an assigned group of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
- Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and treatments, noting changes in physician orders
- Obtains and monitors physiological data and intervenes as necessary
- Administers medications and initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products
- Communicates care plans with patients and families, including at discharge, and delegates tasks to support staff as needed
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Returning workers may only extend one time for a total of 26 weeks unless otherwise agreed, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
- Facility maintains strict compliance deadlines for onboarding requirements including background checks and drug screens
