Travel Nurse Source  is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 73170!

Contract | Onsite

• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients, delivering competent and comprehensive nursing care.
• Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and prescribed medical treatments; notes all changes in physician orders.
• Obtains and monitors physiological data, observes patient manifestations, and intervenes when necessary.
• Administers medications as prescribed; initiates, regulates, and monitors intravenous infusions and blood products.
• Communicates care plans with patients and families during hospitalization and at time of discharge, and makes referrals to appropriate personnel as needed.
• Assists physicians during patient examinations and minor diagnostic procedures; delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate.

• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current RN License issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing, or a current multistate compact RN License (eNLC).
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher from a board-approved program.
• Strong ability to organize, plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services and apply nursing techniques effectively.
• Ability to respond effectively to the cultural and language needs of patients and visitors.
