American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience and ARRT certification at a Level 1 facility.
Requirements- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 2 recent years of Cath Lab experience required
- ARRT certification required
- Stepdown/PCU experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
- Strong knowledge of professional nursing theories, practices, and techniques
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Level 1 Cardiac Cath Lab setting performing STEMI, Shock, VAD, ECMO, and Structural Heart procedures
- Uses Phillips imaging equipment with new Siemens imaging equipment being added
- Documentation completed in Epic with hemodynamic monitoring in Xper
- Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 40 hours weekly
- Provides direct nursing care to an assigned group of cardiac patients ranging from routine to complex cases
- Assists physicians with diagnostic procedures and treatments in the Cath Lab
- Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
- Collaborates with patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
- Delegates tasks appropriately to support staff
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Returning travelers may extend a contract once for up to 26 weeks total, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
- Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines, requiring documentation and onboarding to begin immediately upon offer
