American Traveler is hiring a night-shift RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and 2 years of travel nursing experience.
Details- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit
- Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
- 13-week assignment length
- Active RN license issued by Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association) required
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certificate required
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Advanced Provider or NRP Instructor certification required
- Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN or MSN preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills required
- Provide nursing care to L&D patients, including assessment, medication administration, and IV/blood product management
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
- Document patient responses to treatments and communicate care plans with patients and families
- Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
- Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
- Facility enforces strict compliance deadlines; onboarding must begin promptly after booking
- Returning travelers may extend contracts only once up to a total of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
