American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Nephrology/Medicine position requiring Med/Surg and Stepdown experience along with dialysis site care knowledge.

• Medicine/Nephrology unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
• Care for patients requiring central line management, foley care, and end-of-life care
• Dialysis-specific care required, including proper handling of HD catheters and fistulas without improper access for blood draws

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or a current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Med/Surg and Stepdown experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Charge nurse experience is a plus
• Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration

• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document nursing interventions and responses
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures and treatments
• Initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor physiological data
• Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Facility enforces strict compliance and credentialing deadlines with no start date flexibility
• Extensions limited to one time for a total of 26 weeks, with a required 6-month separation before reapplying
• 30-day written notice required for early cancellation or end of assignment
