American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring a compact or OK RN license and PALS certification.

• Work in the Pediatric ICU of a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, three days per week
• CVICU and NICU experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred

• Active RN license (Oklahoma or multistate compact eNLC)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current PALS certification (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques
• Effective communication and organizational skills

• Provide nursing care to pediatric ICU patients ranging from simple to complex conditions
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients, including monitoring and documenting patient responses
• Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed
• Assist physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Communicate care plans with patients and families, including discharge planning
• Delegate tasks to support staff as needed
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced, with no push starts allowed
• Travelers may extend once for a total of 26 weeks, after which a 6-month separation is required before reapplying
