American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring at least one year of experience and periodic call coverage.

• Work in the Advanced Endoscopy unit of a hospital setting
• Assist physicians with minor diagnostic procedures and treatments for endoscopy patients
• Day shift schedule, 7am-5:30pm, 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week
• Set day off each week
• Call required 2-3 days per month

• Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification (AHA)
• Current ACLS certification (AHA)
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to organize, plan, coordinate and evaluate nursing services
• Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

• Provide nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex
• Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients and document nursing interventions and treatment responses
• Administer prescribed medications and initiate, regulate, and monitor IV infusions and blood products
• Communicate care plans and hospital procedures with patients and families, including at discharge
• Delegate tasks to support staff as appropriate
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Credentialing and compliance deadlines are strictly enforced with no start date flexibility
• 30-day written notice required to cancel or end an assignment early
