American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric OR RN Perioperative Circulator requiring Level I trauma pediatric OR experience and a compact or Oklahoma RN license.
Requirements- Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
- Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
- Minimum of one year of experience in an acute operating room setting
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required, BSN preferred
- Strong knowledge of AORN standards and perioperative nursing practices
- CNOR certification preferred
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- Pediatric Operating Room unit within a hospital setting
- Rotating day shifts with 3x12-hour schedule totaling 36 hours per week
- On-call responsibilities for nights, weekends, and holidays
- Overtime availability as needed
- Level I trauma experience in pediatrics required
- Plan, coordinate, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
- Provide direct and indirect professional nursing care in the operating room
- Document and evaluate all aspects of perioperative patient care using the nursing process
- Individualize care based on patient health status, age, and procedure type
- Facility strictly enforces compliance deadlines, requiring onboarding steps to begin immediately upon offer
- Travelers must be booked at least 4 weeks prior to start date to meet compliance requirements
- Returning travelers may extend a contract only once up to 26 weeks total, then must have a 6-month separation before reapplying
