American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Pediatric ICU position requiring OK or compact RN licensure, BLS, and PALS certifications.

• Hospital setting in the Pediatric ICU
• Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours)
• CVICU and NICU experience preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience required

• Active RN license from Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or multistate compact (eNLC) required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Current PALS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience required
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required, Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, practices, techniques, and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills required

• Provides nursing care to a variety of pediatric ICU patients with conditions ranging from simple to complex
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents responses to nursing interventions
• Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Administers medications and monitors IV infusions and blood products
• Coordinates care with patients and families, including discharge planning
• Delegates tasks to support staff as needed
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Returning travelers may only extend once for a total of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
• Compliance deadlines are strictly enforced, with no push starts allowed once booked
