American Traveler is seeking an RN Perioperative Circulator for an ambulatory surgery center position requiring acute OR experience and an OK or compact RN license.

• Ambulatory surgery center setting within a perioperative department
• Serves surgical patients requiring operative or invasive procedures
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week with a flexible day off
• Shift hours typically run  with occasional late nights until 1900
• No weekend or holiday shifts required

• Active OK state RN license or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Minimum of one year experience in an acute operating room environment
• Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required
• Knowledge of AORN Standards and professional nursing theory, practices, and techniques
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Basic computer skills

• Plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures
• Responsible for direct and indirect provision of professional nursing care in the operating room
• Documents and evaluates all components of patient care within the perioperative environment
• Individualizes patient care based on health status, age, and type of surgery or procedure
• Works collaboratively as part of a surgical care team
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position
