Come and join our team at this 605-room convention center hotel in the heart of downtown Oklahoma City. Our luxury hotel is located next to the Paycom Center (OKC Thunder), the Oklahoma Convention Center and across the street from the 70-acre Scissortail Park.

The property includes an all-day dining outlet (Seltzer's Modern Diner), an entertainment sports bar (OKC Tap House), a specialty restaurant (Bob's Steak & Chop House), a coffee shop (Park Grounds) and a retail outlet (Rare Bird Gift Shop). Additionally, guests can enjoy a Mokara Spa, fitness center and a rooftop pool and bar (Cat Bird Seat) complete with a fire pit, outdoor lawn and cabanas.

The hotel offers 76,000 square feet of meeting and event space inclusive of a 20,000 square foot ballroom, 10,000 square foot ballroom, and a 4,200 square foot outdoor pre‑function space that overlooks the park.

We expect our guests to have fun in the sun, but safety is always number one! The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all our guests at the pool. Lifeguards will maintain a diligent watch over families and children, enforcing rules with the right balance of firmness and politeness. Lifeguards need to be ready at all times to perform life‑saving functions.

Lifeguards may also perform all the functions and responsibilities of Pool Attendants as assigned.

• Report for scheduled shifts on time and in assigned uniform.
• Ensure guests have an exemplary experience through warm welcomes, anticipatory service and fond farewells.
• Monitor the pool deck for safety, cleanliness and guest needs.
• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of emergency.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Handle or refer other problems and situations as they arise within the facility to their immediate supervisor or manager.
• Adhere to and enforce all pool rules and policies.
• Maintain guard medic bags and ensure they are stocked.
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Stay alert for identified banned items, behaviors, or any illegal activity and report to manager.

• Prior experience lifeguarding a pool in a resort, country club, or waterpark facility highly preferred.
• 1 year of previous lifeguard experience preferred.
• Candidates who have lifeguard certification are preferred; training and certification will be provided as needed.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Stand and walk for majority of shift.
• Must have a flexible schedule and be available to work weekends and holidays.
