Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is a non-profit corporation that provides culturally sensitive health care to the American Indian population. OKCIC services include not only basic medical care but also dental, optometry, behavioral health, fitness, nutrition, and other family programs.

Our mission is to provide excellent healthcare to American Indians. We do this by putting people first, providing quality services, and maintaining our Integrity and Professionalism.

We are looking to add compassionate team players to our growing team as we continue to work toward our goal of becoming the national model for American Indian Health Care.

The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic (OKCIC) is implementing Epic, and we're looking for an experienced Epic Beaker Clinical Pathology Application Analyst to help build and optimize the technology that supports our laboratory operations.

In this role, you'll partner with laboratory professionals, providers, pathologists, and technical teams to configure and support workflows that improve specimen tracking, laboratory testing, result reporting, quality control, and regulatory compliance. Your work will directly impact patient safety and the delivery of high-quality diagnostic services.

If you're passionate about laboratory operations, healthcare technology, and solving complex workflow challenges, we'd love to hear from you.

Applicants claiming Indian Preference must complete the full application and must provide documentation verifying eligibility (such as a tribal enrollment card or Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB)).

Requirements
  • Configure Beaker Clinical Pathology workflows, including collection lists, specimen labels, tracking logs, and result layouts
  • Cross-train and act as a Data Innovations (DI) Administrator to manage lab instrument middleware, mapping rules, and driver connectivity
  • Map laboratory tests, result components, panic value thresholds, and automated quality control flags within the system
  • Troubleshoot interface errors between automated laboratory instruments, external reference laboratories, and the patient chart
  • Partner with laboratory supervisors to ensure that the system builds maintain strict compliance with regulatory standards (CLIA/CAP)

The Oklahoma City Indian Clinic is a nonprofit organization, not a federal employer. Indian preference hiring laws apply. The Clinic is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation and an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer. The Clinic adheres to all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination in employment, including protections based on race, color, sex, national origin, age, disability, religion, veteran status, and other characteristics as required by federal, state, or local law.

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Health Informatics, Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related clinical or technical field required. • Minimum of four (4) years of progressively responsible experience supporting healthcare information technology, laboratory information systems (LIS), electronic health records (EHR), laboratory operations, or enterprise healthcare applications required.
  • Candidates must successfully pass the Epic Sphinx Assessment as part of the interview and selection process to be eligible for employment in this position.
