Traveling Quality Control Manager; QCM

This is an outstanding opportunity for a construction quality professional seeking exposure to large-scale federal projects ranging from $50M-$300M+ in value. You'll lead project-level quality initiatives, work directly with government stakeholders, and gain experience on complex Department of Defense and federal construction programs across multiple markets.

• Lead and administer the project Quality Control Program from project startup through closeout.
• Manage all daily quality reporting, documentation, and compliance tracking.
• Coordinate inspections, testing agencies, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Conduct and document Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up (Three-Phase) inspections.
• Maintain deficiency logs, punch lists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Review and manage submittals, RFIs, and quality documentation.
• Ensure compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and federal standards.
• Collaborate directly with owners, government representatives, USACE, NAVFAC, DoD personnel, and project leadership.
• Participate in project meetings and provide quality-related leadership and recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement and quality excellence across all phases of construction.

• 10+ years of construction quality control and/or field construction experience.
• Strong experience supporting federal, military, or government construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage project-level QA/QC programs on active jobsites.
• Working knowledge of USACE, NAVFAC, DoD, and federal construction standards.
• CQM-C Certification required (or ability to obtain immediately).
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, specifications, and quality standards.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel nationally for project assignments.
• Experience with RMS, Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office is highly preferred.
