Quality Assurance - QA/QC
Regulatory Compliance Specialist, Quality Engineering, Production QC/QA
• Manage employees performing quality inspection, engineering and technical activities through all phases of the product lifecycle
• Develop quality strategies and plans supporting new business acquisition and program/business plan execution
• Provide education and coaching on the Quality System
• Acquire and manage resources, provide quality technical management, and lead performance improvements
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers, and direct reports
• Oversee review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility
• Manage, develop, and motivate employees
• Perform day-to-day quality assurance and process control
• Analyze data, review trends, and create recovery plans to resolve production issues and meet schedule and safety targets
• Collaborate with internal customers, suppliers, manufacturing, test, and engineering to implement corrective actions and sustainable process improvements
• Travel up to 10% of the time
• Support 1st or 2nd shift and additional shifts as required
- 5+ years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment
- 1+ year of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes and implementing corrective actions
- At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross‑functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR completion of the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”
- U.S. Person status required for U.S. export control compliance
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required by the U.S. Government
- Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start required
- Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status
- Ability to work any shift, as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees (preferred)
- 1+ year of experience working with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and Department of Defense (DOD) contracts (preferred)
- Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives (preferred)
- Successful completion of the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process
- Completion of the Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment as part of the selection process
Demonstrates expertise in quality management and process improvement within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on leadership, team development, and compliance with U.S. export control regulations.
