Overview

UE Manufacturing is Now Hiring Quality Control Inspector II located at 10000 NW 2nd, Oklahoma City, OK 73127.The Quality Control Inspector II independently performs inspection and verification activities to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and internal requirements. This role plays an active part in maintaining ISO 9001 compliance by controlling inspection activities, documenting results, and supporting resolution of quality issues for complex oil & gas and power generation equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform independent incoming, in-process, and final inspections of machined parts, weldments, assemblies, and tested equipment.
  • Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, inspection/test plans, and customer requirements.
  • Understanding of AWS D1.1 for welded part inspection
  • Use precision measurement and inspection equipment to verify product conformity.
  • Initiate and document nonconformance reports (NCRs) and support investigations.
  • Support and interface with third-party inspectors and vendors during inspections
  • Support functional, pressure, and performance testing, including FAT activities.
  • Provide guidance and oversight to Level I inspectors to ensure consistent quality execution.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • CWI preferred
  • 3-5 years of quality inspection experience in heavy equipment, oil & gas, or power generation manufacturing.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and inspection criteria.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001 concepts and quality documentation.
