Bio Talent are partnered with an expanding Biologics CDMO in Oklahoma to search for a Senior Scientist / Engineer to work on upstream process development as well as scale up and tech transfer projects.

As the Senior Scientist, you will lead multiple client projects across cell culture platforms working with media and bioprocess technologies for perfusion systems. The projects will vary from bench scale (shake flasks and bench top high throughput bioreactors) through to pilot scale to support GMP-like processes.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading multiple projects, overseeing internal project teams
• Design, plan, and execute experimental protocols using shake-flasks, high throughput bioreactor systems (ambr
  15 / ambr
  250) and bench-top small scale bioreactors to optimize upstream cell culture process performance for manufacturing a variety of biologics such as monoclonal antibodies and therapeutic recombinant proteins.
• Independently develop and optimize robust and scalable bioprocess platforms primarily fed-batch and perfusion systems.
• Support Manufacturing groups by leveraging cell culture expertise to support investigations, troubleshooting complex technical challenges.
• Specify and source new upstream equipment to expand the cell culture capabilities of the upstream development laboratory

You will bring the following:

• PhD, Masters or Bachelor’s degree in Biochemical Engineering, Bioprocessing, Biotechnology or similar along with significant industry experience upstream processing for biopharmaceutical production.
• Experience leading projects focused on perfusion processing is required.
• Experience with a variety of bioreactor systems will be highly desirable, Ambr
  15 and Am  250 experience is essential.
