Pay Range:Targeted annual salary ranges from $45,600 to $60,400, based on experience.

Work Schedule:Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (may include some weekends)

The Stephenson Cancer Center is advancing the future of cancer treatment, and we're looking for a passionate scientist to join our innovative research team as a Staff Research Associate. You will play a critical role in leading and supporting cutting‑edge research initiatives while managing research staff and fostering scientific excellence. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside renowned investigators developing novel approaches to cancer treatment and translational medicine.
WhatYou'll Do
- Plan, design, and conduct innovative scientific research projects.
- Lead and coordinate complex research activities while mentoring and managing laboratory personnel.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data to drive scientific discoveries.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to advance translational and clinical research efforts.
- Contribute to publications, presentations, grant applications, and scientific reports.
This position will support transformative research in one or more of the following areas:
- Hematopoietic Stem Cell Biology & Transplantation
- Radiation Mitigation & Countermeasures
- Immunotherapy including CAR T-cell therapies and bispecific antibodies
- Cancer Biology focused on multiple myeloma

RequiredEducation:
- Master's Degree in a Biological Science, Physical Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- 60 months research specialty experience.
Will accept a Ph.D. plus 36 months experience as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
Required Certifications and Licenses:None.
Department Preferences:- 12 months of supervisory experience.
