Bob Howard Honda Parts Counter Retail Sales Associate

Bob Howard Honda is seeking a customer-focused Parts Counter Retail Sales Associate to join our Parts Department. This role is responsible for assisting retail and service customers with automotive parts purchases, providing exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting dealership operations. Candidates with dealership parts experience and familiarity with CDK/EPICOR (or similar dealership management systems) are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting retail customers and service technicians in identifying and purchasing automotive parts and accessories.
• Processing parts sales, special orders, returns, and exchanges accurately.
• Utilizing electronic parts catalogs and dealership management systems to research and locate parts.
• Maintaining inventory organization, stocking, and merchandising standards.
• Answering customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
• Working collaboratively with the service department to ensure timely parts fulfillment.
• Promoting and upselling OEM Honda parts, accessories, and related products.
• Maintaining accurate records of parts transactions and inventory movements.
• Following all dealership policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Qualifications include:

• Two or more year's related experience in an automotive parts department preferred.
• Previous automotive parts counter, retail sales, or dealership experience preferred.
• Experience with CDK, Epicor, or other dealership management systems preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and components.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
